Our dentists bring a wide variety of expertise to the practice. Not only do they provide general dentistry, but they also specialize in Periodontal services (gum treatments) and Endodontic therapies (root canals). Our dentists have furthered their training in order to take care of all of our patients needs right in our office. This eliminates the need to refer our patents to other specialty offices.
The tissues around the roots of teeth are often associated with gum disease and bone loss. Periodontists provide specialized care for these tissues. Many dentists would refer a patient that needs periodontal work to a specialist; but here at Paradise Dental, we ARE specialists! Dr. Helyne Hamelburg received her postdoctoral training in the field of Periodontology from Boston University in 1993. Our periodontal services include:
- Deep scaling with anesthesia
- Crown lengthening
- Gum recession & gum grafting
- Bone grafting
- Pocket reduction surgery
- Implant replacement
- Sinus evaluation
Endodontics means “inside of the tooth” and involves treating the damaged or diseased nerve tissues of the teeth. Dentists often refer patients in need of a difficult root canal to an endodontist specialist; but here at Paradise Dental, we have specialists right in our office! Dr. Christina Pastan completed her postdoctoral training in Endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1994. Our endodontic services include:
- Root canals
- Nonsurgical root canals
- Root canal re-treatment
- Cracked teeth or traumatic injuries
Having a periodontist and endodontist in our office helps our clients save time and provide convenience. No more waiting around to find a specialist to get your perfect smile!
