At Paradise Dental, we have recently made an investment into Surgically Clean Air. Surgically Clean Air is an air cleaning system, that was created by the company of the same name, which has been placed throughout the office, and purifies the air throughout the course of the day. These air purifiers are known to significantly improve the quality of the indoor air quality in commercial, & residential areas.
What Does This Mean?
In the past few years, we have seen a significant increase in use of Surgically Clean Air Purifiers in places such as hospitals, medical labs, surgery centers and above all, dental clinics. We have been following this company for a while to look out for more data and have seen growth in the fact that these systems can now remove 99% of air particulates that are not supposed to be there. Because of this, we knew it was the perfect investment to make for our patients, and doctors, amongst others.
While they have been around for quite a bit of time, these world-class, medical grade air purifiers have proven that they remove chemicals, toxins, germs, odors and airborne viruses. This absolutely reduces the spread of illness and will ensure a cleaner, safer office space. In a recent independent study, RTI came to the conclusion that “for the organisms tested (virus, fungus, bacteria), the Surgically Clean Air (SCA301F) achieved very near the maximum removal of the airborne particulate”. This essentially means that Surgically Clean Air filters purified the air in the space as much as they possibly could. Below you can see a graph of the particle count over a course of just 15 minutes, where we can see the massive reduction of viral, fungal and bacterial particulates:
Paradise Dental & Surgically Clean Air
We have had Surgically Clean Air in place for about a month at this point, and we have seen a 90% reduction in air pollutants. There was a study done over the course of a month, and while this 90% reduction was an overall reduction, we also saw even higher reductions in areas such as the check out area, the offices and kitchen area and near the steri center. These reductions were about 92%, 94% and again, 92%. Since these saw higher rates of reduction, this means that it is safer and cleaner for everyone who comes in contact with those areas.
We are so excited to share this news with you, as YOU are the reason why we continue to work to improve our services every day! Feel free to give us a call if you’d like to know a little bit more about Surgically Clean Air and the incredible impact it has had on our office so far!
