Safety in Our Dental Practice – How We are Exceeding CDC Standards

While many things have changed over the past couple of years, one thing has remained the same; our commitment to the safety of our staff and patients. Though we have always had protective measures in place, during the unprecedented times of the Covid-19 pandemic, Paradise Dental has done everything in our power to ensure that our office remains safe. Though we have always had safety protocols in place, we have implemented many additional layers of safety into our practice in order to maintain CDC standards and beyond.

Extra PPE

Our staff who will come in contact with you, such as our doctors, hygienists, and dental assistants, will all be wearing medical-grade face masks, face shields, gloves, and extra PPE.

Sterilization Center

Our investment in a state-of-the-art sterilization area is an additional layer in safety. We have an 11-process to ensure our instruments are thoroughly sanitized. Everything in our sterilization area is hands-free to avoid unnecessary cross-contamination.  Our center is currently meeting and exceeding the CDC requirements.

DuraMax Extraoral Suction Unit & Surgically Clean Air

We have a DuraMax Extraoral Suction unit set up in each of our examination rooms. What this control system does is remove aerosol contaminants produced during dental procedures. Alongside our DuraMax unit, we also have Surgically Clean Air, an air purification system that uses a 6-stage filtration process to remove allergens, germs, and viruses.

CrossTex DentaPure®

This year, Paradise Dental invested in CrossTex DentaPure®, the leading dental unit waterline treatment technology. This technology has revolutionized dental unit waterline treatment by providing safe water for 365 days and/or 240 liters of water. Due to narrow water lines in dental offices, without the use of CrossTex DentaPure®, biofilm, a complex mix of bacteria, fungi, and algae will begin to stick together and become almost gel-like. This poses a serious safety threat to your patients and your staff, which is why we were happy to invest in CrossTex DentaPure®.
